    Unable to remote download from game pass mobile apps


    On the Stable Build of the Game Pass Mobile App I receive an Error stating "Oops, we weren't able to retrieve install status for this game. Rest assured the game is queued to your Xbox for Installation.", whereas the beta build doesn't show that message and does change the install button to a queued for install button, on my xbox nothing is actually added to the install queue, so far the only fix for this I have found is uninstalling the Insider Build currently on my xbox.

    Any other Ideas on how to possibly fix this?

    Xbox Remote play/download

    If you are using the PC or mobile Xbox app to remote play from your console and you start a game download, it is the console you are viewing, so it would be the console using the internet to download the game. The app does use some bandwidth to connect to the console (so you can view it) but game downloads are done on the console, not the app.

    Again, for example, if you are using the Game Pass app to remote install a game, this just triggers the console to download the game. Nothing is downloaded in the app.

    What console do you have?
    Did you try downloading the game remotely?

    For this purpose you can try using the Xbox.com website or the Game Pass mobile app

    You must have games and apps ready to download in order for them to appear under the ready to install tab. This can be done by remotely downloading from the mobile app or purchasing games from the Microsoft website.

    You can install game pass games from your mobile device to your console. Just download the Game Pass app and it should work.
