    Unable to reinstall Xbox app for pc


    My Xbox app quit working today...started with the game bar. I uninstalled both the Xbox app and the game bar after trying to repair and fix. Now I cannot reinstall either app and don’t have access to any of my games. Tried to reinstall through power shell but nothing is working. If I try to reinstall through the store I get an error. Such horrible software spent three hours trying to resolve this and nothing worked incredibly frustrated. Makes my second guess moving to PC. Can anybody please help?

    Yes, Windows was up to date.

    Downloading the installer from the link you provided seemed to fix both of my issues.

    Thanks for sharing this. May I know if your Windows is updated? Please press Windows + I. Click on Security and update > Check for updates and install all. Please let me know if you receive any error message when trying to install an update.

    Also, please try to download it direct from the Xbox website (https://www.xbox.com/en-US/apps/xbox-app-for-pc) and run the XboxInstaller. See if the issue persists.
