Unable to redeem promotional Gears of War 1 & 3 codes.

I am unable to redeem my Gears of War 1 & 3 codes I received as part of the promotion for buying Gears of War 4. The other 2 codes have redeemed just fine, but the others have progressed from a generic "try again later" error to an "existing Xbox subscription
that's blocking this code redemption" error.

I contacted support and after a while was directed here to help resolve the issue.

Cannot redeem Gears of War 1 and 3 that came free with Gears of War 4 on XBOX One

I bought a copy of Gears of War 4 for the Xbox One a while back. It came with free downloads of Gears of War 1-3 and Gears of War Judgement. I was able to redeem Gears of War 2 and Judgment but am unable to redeem Gears of War 1 and 3. And with 3, it says
the code has already been used but it does not appear in my library, whereas with 1, I am simply unable to redeem it. Please help.

Gears of War Promotion Code

Hi Xbox Team,

I've received Gears of War 1 - 3 and Judgement codes for playing Gears of War Ultimate Edition.

I was able to redeem Gears of War 2 and Judgement (already have GoW 3 on my account), but I am unable to redeem Gears of War 1. It just says "Something Went Wrong"..

Any help?

ok first question what is youyour actual physical region? Please answer that because it's important

Then go to commerce.microsoft.com and check your region

If it doesn't match that's the issue

Your account region has to.match your physical region you must change it under my account and change my y region and no not the locale of the website

For the best experience with xbox live you must match your actual region

Then change it o. The console

Choosing us or UK only works if you physically live there

And yes it's is specific to gears 1 and 3 die to.the region locks due to.the bans in certain regions

Xbox Promotions, I can not redeem the code!!! Just saying something wrong, I have other code for Gears of War 2 and it works fine!!!

Same issue for me. I have been able to redeem codes for Gears of War 3 and Gears of War Judgement, but haven't been able to redeem Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3. I also tried in microsoft.com/redeem with my Xbox associated account and didn't work either.

Could someone advise on how to proceed further?

The website you're linking to is actually for the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition promotion and not the actual promotion for Gears of War 4. You can find more info on that promotion

HERE. To clarify, only codes for the Backward Compatible titles are sent. There is no promotion that offers the Remastered Ultimate Edition currently.
