Unable to recover account through account recovery

I have an old Xbox account. It was my childhood account and one that I have many memories on.

The account is registered under a Google email address, and as of recent, Google created a policy that permanently deletes accounts inactive for 2+ years.

The account is still registered as a child account and appears on my father's xbox family app. I know the gamer tag, email, and other information.

Looking for alternative log-in methods, I found the account recovery form. This form is a nightmare.

I have filled out the account recovery form several times with very accurate information. But for the life of me, it has failed every single time.

I don't know what additional information I could provide. I've attempted to speak to Microsoft customer support, but they have provided little help saying, "it is in favor of our customers security to not allow you access." Which is stupid! I have the information to prove the account is mine, but I can't gain access to it?!

I am desperate to recover old screenshots and captures before they are deleted by Jan 1 2024.

Will anyone with actual power to assist me, please help?

I'm sorry to hear that someone stole your account. I know how frustrating it can be when this happens. Let's say that the only alternative you have at this moment is to send the account recovery form (If your information was deleted unfortunately there is nothing to do, you mentioned that you have already tried the recovery form but believe me this is the only option to recover an account), I have also been through this situation, so I can give you some recommendations:

The first thing is to enter information that the account has, in case a phone number or card has been deleted, you should simply omit that information and not add it to the form. That said, you can enter the following link:

Please note that Support cannot help recover accounts, but in that case, if you want to contact them and talk in a live chat for more detailed information, you can access the following link.

We understand that you lost access to your Microsoft Account and unable to recover it. Though this may be frustrating, this is the only process for account recovery.

This is a Microsoft Account recovery issue that we are unable to resolve on our end. We don't have a recovery tool as it deals with personal information and is considered part of privacy. The only way to recover the Minecraft account is to recover the Microsoft Account. Since you have been through the recovery process with success, you may try to submit another ticket and provide as much info as possible to help you possibly recover the account.

Hello Sommcrane,

If you are unable to recover it through the account recovery, due to the email was not a valid email. You will need to start over. There is no way to recover that account. Even support wouldn't be able to. They now direct customers to the

account recovery form.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand trying to recover an account, Unfortunately, the only way to recover an account is through the

account recovery form. Even a support agent is unable to access or see a password or even change it.
