Unable to purchase Red Dead Redemption on Series X

I wanted to play through RDR 1 & 2, so added them to my cart with a few other games. Wouldn't allow me to progress to checkout. "Oops. Not sure what happened there. Please try again later. Xfh3B2UHbr0GgcvpZ70Wyq.302" Pops up.

Rebooted the Xbox series x (as well as the internet). Still encountered the same issue.

Thought maybe it was the Xbox 360 games (5 in total includind RDR 1). So I took them out of the basket. I was able to proceed to check out and buy the games no problem.

Then decided to try to buy the Xbox 360 games (basically attempting half of the list at a time). The only one getting the error, and which I am still unable to purchase is Red Dead Redemption 1.

Hey Manuela, sure thing. It was the Red Dead Redemption 2 deluxe edition for the Xbox one, not series x or s.

Yes, that actually could explain it. If you bought Red Dead Redemption as part of a bundle (especially a bundle with Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One or Series X|S), there’s a chance the original RDR was only included as a backward-compatible title for newer consoles, not as a standalone Xbox 360 license.

You can double-check some information here:

Go to > https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

• Look for the bundle and click into the purchase.

• See if it lists Red Dead Redemption (Xbox 360) specifically, or just says “Playable on Xbox One/Series X|S.”

If it doesn’t list the 360 version, you’ll need to contact support and ask if your bundle included the Xbox 360 license.
