Unable to purchase gift, attempted to change account!

Thanks for your post! If you're using a Visa Debit gift card, the store may have some issues processing the order. These payment methods are unable to be used with subscriptions and in addition, will not behave well in the normal store. You could go and
purchase a Microsoft Account currency gift card with your Visa Debit gift card and use that to purchase the game and DLC you're attempting to buy.

Gifts are set up by region and will not be redeemable if it was purchased from a different region. Changing consoles region to another region falsely will not change the outcome. The only option would be to have the person that purchased the gift to attempt
to reverse the purchase of the gift as the code will not be able to be redeemed in a different region. Refund Webform

Unfortunately, the game gifting feature for the Xbox Marketplace is hit or miss depending upon the specific title. As you've discovered, it's possible to gift games to friends they might be unable to play due to region locks.

1. What content are you attempting to gift?
2. Which region is your Xbox account?
3. Which region is your friend's Xbox account?

It may be possible to play this game with your friend if he changes the region of his Xbox account:

This may be done once every three months.
