Unable to Purchase Backwards Compatible Game - Billing Correct, Code Redeemed

Thanks. I've just checked that now and it's the only option. I'm not sure of the legality of this given that it states on the product that you can buy "Xbox games" with it. Surely that's exactly what this would be.

Try redeeming the codes on https://account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem?ref=xboxcom&refd=account.microsoft.com if that doesn't work, then your only option might be to redeem the codes on an actual Xbox 360 console. Bear in mind, the game and DLC have now been delisted from the store, so the codes might not work.

Edit, I have found another way to redeem a code on the Xbox One or Xbox Series consoles via backward compatibility, which might get the codes to work. Start a backward Compatible title which you can purchase DLC directly from the game. Fallout 3 has this option. If you have Xbox Game Pass, it is currently on there. Then download the game, and start it, then select downloads on the menu, this will show the DLC available for the game. Select view available content. Then select any of the content, as if you were going to purchase the content. Then select Change Payment Option. Then Redeem Code. Try then to redeem the codes you have for the game.

Hi, you won't have much luck I'm afraid, any backwards compatible digital purchases have to be using the same account that purchased them or was used to redeem a download code in your case. The game must also be on the official list of backwards compatible
games which and I don't see Skyrim on that list.
