Unable to Play Xbox 360 Games on Live

Hi, Def Jam Fight for New York is not compatible to play on the Xbox 360. Even with connection to Xbox Live you will be unable to play this game.

Thank you for all of your time and help, Josef. So, the issue kind of resolved itself? We have a second, less used Xbox One and we signed into that one and made it the Home Xbox. Now we don’t have the family verify issue. It’s so bizarre but I’m glad it worked out eventually.

You are correct that he is trying to play an Xbox 360 game on an Xbox One using backwards compatibility. I am able to sign into his account using the link you provided above.

I went through all the steps and we are still unable to use Xbox live. When I go to aka.ms/familyverify, the Xbox asks to open the app store and shows that there are no results for "ms-wpc."

I don't know if that helps any, but thought I would add that as part of the issue.

Can you try removing and re-adding your child account via family settings webpage?

If that doesn't work, the family app that you're using. Is the mobile app or are you doing it via PC?
If it's the second try using the family app.

Yes, that's correct. As long as you have the profile that owns the subscription as Home Xbox you can share live gold with the other accounts

Is this happening only with the Xbox 360 games?
By the way, may I know if you tried power cycling the console as advised previously?
