    Unable to play specific Blu Ray on Xbox One


    So got a weird issue, I bought a movie called Saint Maud on Blu-Ray and for whatever reason the main menu for the movie doesnt work . It goes through the previews and everything but when it comes to the point where the main menu should show up nothing shows up except the background video loop.

    Have tried rebooting the console, fully shutting it down and restarting it, clearing persistent storage, disable BD Live and disconnecting from the internet and reinstalling the Blu-ray app and it hasnt fixed the issue.

    Other Blu-rays seem to work and Saint Maud appears to work fine on another Blu-ray player that I have. If anyone can think of anything else to try it would be much appreciated.

    Yeah it says Region A and I am in North America so it should be fine.

    That's odd, might be an issue with this one in particular, did you test it on another device?

    My thoughts as well, assuming it is probably some wonky issue with how BD-J is being used on the main menu, figured i would ask here though to see if anyone had any other ideas.

    Yes same region and when i said reset I meant restart as opposed to full, no standby, power off.

    Well, now you got me there, cause, I do believe it's not an issue with the console, but at the same time this blu ray media only works on that portable player of yours. Strange... well, that leaves us with an compatibility issue. Are you sure of the region's compatibility?
