    Unable to play multiplayer games.


    Whenever I attempt to load into a multiplayer game it gives me the message “The person who bought this needs to sign in” but not only did I buy these games I also redownload them in an attempt to make it work. I’m able to message others online and play single player games I own but multiplayer games won’t work.

    Select “Profile and system” and then “Settings.”
    Select “Account” and then “Sign in.”
    Enter the email address and password of the account where you purchased the multiplayer games.

    Make sure you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription.

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    Select “Profile and system” and then “Settings.”
    Select “Account” and then “Subscriptions.”

    Verify that you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription.
    Make sure your Xbox console is connected to the Internet.

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    Select “Profile and system” and then “Settings.”
    Select “Network” and then “Network Settings.”
    Verify that your Xbox console is connected to the Internet.

    Xbox Live Gold is ONLY required for playing online Multiplayer, participating in parties and getting and playing the free Games with Gold games.

    If you purchased a game digitally, you can download that without a Gold membership. You'll just be unable to play the online multiplayer part (if the game has online Multiplayer).

    Sorry to hear about that, however, kindly ensure that these settings are all enabled by signing in to your account here: https://account.xbox.com/Settings

    Under Xbox and Windows 10 devices Online safety, ensure that "You can play with people outside of Xbox Live", "You can create and join clubs", "You can add friends" and "You can join multiplayer games" are set to Allow. Scroll down and click submit.

    Under Privacy, "You can see and upload community creations" set it to Everyone and these are optional: "You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text" Allow and "Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites" Everyone. Scroll down and click Submit.

    If they are, you can try re-syncing your account into the console. Ensure that you know your Microsoft account and password before doing so and your console is connected to the internet.

    -Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    -Profile & System > Settings > Account > Remove account

    -Select the account that you want to remove, and then select "Remove" to confirm.

    -Once done, select Close.

    Then, you can restart your console > long-press Xbox button on the controller > Restart

    Lastly, sign in to your account again by:

    -Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    -Go to Sign in > Add new
