Unable to play minecraft on my pc, getting Error drowned

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the error code Drowned. The Drowned error is a sign-in issue associated with your Microsoft account. Can you confirm on what device do you play Minecraft? First, please try to make sure that your game is on the latest update. You can also try to change your Microsoft account password and see if it will help.

If possible, please try to use a different network when signing in your Microsoft account on Minecraft and check if you will get the same Drowned error code.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the error code Drowned. According to Minecraft Help, "The Drowned error is a sign-in issue associated with your Microsoft account. Even though you’re already in the game, you may not be able to access or connect to some services."

Can you confirm on what device do you play Minecraft? Are you able to sign in on Xbox.com with no issues? Please do try to change your Microsoft account password and see if it will help.

If you are on PC, kindly try to sign out your Microsoft account on both Microsoft Store app and Xbox app then sign back in. After this, please try to check if you will get the same issue when signing in to Bedrock.

Thank you for your response, Renato, however unfortunately I have previously attempted to follow the steps suggested but unfortunately I need to be logged into my account in order to access my profile. As I am unable to sign in, this step is impossible. I have also previously contacted Minecraft support however they responded suggesting that I contact Microsoft as Mojang no longer offer support. Unfortunately, when trying to contact Microsoft about this issue, I was directed to this forum rather than a Minecraft or Microsoft support agent. As you can imagine, the runaround is less than ideal and the frustration of not being able to sign in sadly remains.

Do you or anyone else have any suggestions how I might be able to speak to someone at Microsoft who could potentially help with what appears to be an account issue?
