Unable to play in game while controller connected via windows 10

Windows 10 is up to date. Are you connecting to the computer with a USB cable or wirelessly? You can try performing

a clean boot. A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs,
so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program. Be sure to let us know the results!

Hi,

You can create and join parties on Windows 10 just like on Xbox. You can do this using the

Windows 10 Game Bar. The people you are playing with can still chat to you using Game Bar even if they are on an Xbox One console.

Something to note:

If your controller is connected to your PC via Bluetooth you'll need to connect a microphone to your mic port on your PC. Chat via a microphone on an Xbox One controller is only available via USB or an Xbox One Gaming Receiver.

Is your windows 10 or 11?

Try deleting your controller in windows, and then connecting via bluetooth again.
