Unable to Play Games I have Purchased Digitally on Xbox One X, Receiving Error 0x803f8001

After purchasing and updating my relatively new Xbox One X, I have tried playing/starting several games, multiple times each with this error:

"Do you own this game or app?

If you have a game disc, insert it now. If you bought this online, make sure you're signed into Xbox Live. If you don't have rights for playing it, you'll need to get it at the Microsoft Store. (0x803f8001).

See in Microsoft Store -------- Cancel ---------- Help"

I know for a fact that all of these games I have tried starting were either downloaded during a month where they were free under Games with Gold, or I have purchased them in the past. I also went through the Help section, and all possible solutions given
did not solve my issue. (The Microsoft Store did not have any temporary outages, my Xbox was NOT unresponsive, etc.). I have additionally made this my home xbox.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as this is extremely frustrating when I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars on games I can no longer play.

I would like to note that I initially purchased all of these games on my original Xbox One.

Mass Effect 2 Xbox one issue

I keep receiving error code 0x803f8001 when attempting to play the game. I own the disc & have it installed. I also have received a message several times stating the game isn't backwards compatible?

Error 0x803F8001 occurs when a game won't work on Xbox One
You see the following error code when you try to play a game on your Xbox One S or original Xbox One console:

This may mean one of the following:

• The game was purchased and downloaded, but you aren't signed in and connected to Xbox Live.
• The game was purchased and downloaded by another family member, and that person is not signed in to the console.
• The game disc is not in the console.
• The above solution is not helping
• The disc is in the console, and I am the family member that loaded the game ?
• I am however in CHINA now, as we took the console with us, when offline all was well, now I have connected to internet
• all the disc will not play the above error code now shows ?

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

If that didnt fix anything be sure to check
http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if there is any issue with your Xbox Live subscription etc.

Also check if you are using the same account that was used to purchase the games.

(I just saw that most of these steps are on the support page too)

If the manual power cycle didn't fix the issue and there are no subscription/account issues on the account that purchased the games and the games still will not start, then I suggest contact Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat via
