    Unable to play GamePass games via GamePass Ultimate on PC


    Hi,

    I receive the following error when attempting to play Gamepass games on my PC. I can play on Xbox console no problem.

    Merge And Blade is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001

    I have tried to talk to an expert on WebChat and after resetting the app and logging in to the store again, I still have the same issue. They then said it was an issue affecting all PC gamers, however support.xbox.com says there are no outages.

    I have been unable to get a call back through Xbox support system. I receive the same error message on other games. I have had GamePass Ultimate for a while but this is the first time I have tried to play games on PC using it.

    Can anyone help? My Gamepass Ultimate subscription does not expire until 2024.

    Are there any games available on xbox that are not available on PC on the xbox game pass ultimate.

    does not matter, ultimate is just the following

    cloud gaming

    gamepass for console

    gamepass for pc

    ea play

    gold

    so what you see on pc gamepass is what you get.

    PC gamepass is the following

    pc gamepass

    ea play

    gold is not needed for pc and obviously you don't need gamepass console as you are on pc.

    there are no games exclusive to ultimate, everything available on gamepass pc and console is the same with or without ultimate.

    i took it as he wants to play the game on pc via gamepass ultimate not stream it. yes to streaming from console to pc but whats the point of that when he has a console to play it on and it would run like trash streaming.

    the game is not available on pc therefore cannot download it via gamepass ultimate from ea desktop app either.

    you need gamepass pc then, so you can't,

    Gold for online play on console

    Gamepass for gamepass games on console

    Gamepass PC for games on pc with ea play attached

    Ultimate gamepass - Gold, Gamepass, Gampass PC, EA Play and xcloud.

    Game Pass Ultimate

    The only reason to get the Ultimate Gamepass is for the PC games. If you play on Xbox and PC then the Ultimate Gamepass is worth it.

    You just get the pc libraries and the cloud play

    Gamepass for console.has xbox games

    Gamepass for.pc.has pc.only games

    Gamepass ultimate has.both and cloud play

    You can't access console.games on pc unless cloud

    Same.with console.can't access pc games part of ultimate
