    Unable to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare Multiplayer


    Ever since the Call of Duty optimization update a couple of weeks ago, I have been having massive lag issues and unable to play multiplayer on certain maps. I will get a Dev Error and then the map name next to it. This happens only for certain maps that I have played before the update. I am unable to play them now. I have checked for updates and asked other friends. They are experiencing the same issues and just won't play the game anymore.

    I have contacted customer service and they have provided no help at all. All they say is to restart my modem and unplug/ plug back in my xbox. That did nothing at all.

    What more can I try besides uninstalling the entire game and reinstalling. That is not a feasible option for me.

    Are you playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or Call of Duty: Black Ops? With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 an issue could be you are trying to play split screen online multiplayer over Xbox Live. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 does not support split
    screen online multiplayer. On the other hand if you are playing Call of Duty: Black Ops split screen online multiplayer is support however both accounts must be gold subscriptions (unless the 2nd user is signed in as a guest). If this problem proceeds please
    power off your console and wait some time and try again. Good luck! :)

    Can't install multiplayer pack 1 for COD MW 2019

    Hi @anbuj001

    You get the "Oops.not sure what happened here. Please try again later." when you try and install the multiplayer pack from within the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 game. This is the error I was getting. If you close the window you will see the dreaded PILUM error code!

    So as per my post, you need to navigate to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 game in the Xbox game store, choose the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Digital S..." edition and then scroll down to the "In This Bundle" portion.

    Then choose the multiplayer pack for Call of Duty Modern Warfare and install that.

    The reason for the error is because Call of Duty Warzone versions have been updated, but the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 game multiplayer included version link has not, hence the error you get.

    Call of Duty Warzone is free to download and play with an active Xbox Live subscription. The Call of Duty Modern Warfare campaign is not.

    Does every dlc appear on "Manage game & Add-ons" on MW ? is there any missing ? you should have:

    • “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — Multiplayer Pack”
    • “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — Spec Ops Pack 1″
    • “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — Campaign Pack 1″
    • “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — Campaign Pack 2″
