Unable to Play BO1 on XB1. Cannot download 360 profile.

hello, i've been trying to play bo1 on xbox1 but I've been having issues.

Whenever I try to connect to multiplayer it tells me to download my profile. My profile has never been played on 360 so I think that has something to do with it.

my profile doesn't show up in the window so I press Download Profile and it says it cannot connect to xbox live.

I had this same problem in GRID 2 trying to play online. Unable to download a 360 profile.

Ive tried signing onto my friends 360 and saving the profile on a usb stick and that still didnt work.

Ive also tried deleting reserved space and hard resetting.

I have a 1 TB Forza 6 system. The same issue a lot of people here are having. I've done all the steps people have suggested. It hangs up on the white "Getting 360 information screen" before asking to download a profile that won't download.

Sorry to hear about the profile trouble you're all experiencing. To help as get to the bottom of this, let's make sure everyone tries the following steps:

• Remove your profile from the Xbox One console
  
• Power cycle your Xbox One by holding power button for 8-10 seconds until the Xbox One powers off. Then power it back on.
  
• Add your profile back to your Xbox One
  
• Start the Backward Compatible game and attempt to re-download your profile (to pull up the guide press both
  the menu and view button at the same time)

Bumping this because I have the same problem. I've played on the 360 before but it won't connect to live through the the backwards compatibility. I deleted my profile and tried to redownload but it just says it can't connect to live.

 

Hopefully we get an update shortly. I know a lot of people must be experiencing this

 

Okay I got multiplayer to work, I reset my xbox one to default settings but kept the games/apps.

go to your settings and look for the reset option and see if it works!!
