Unable to play backwards compatible discs offline

I don't know your circumstances but I'd download Fable 2 and Skate 3 when you have a reliable internet connection, like when you go home for some sort of break.

I think that there may be dynamic IP set up on your dorm restricting your download, restrictions on download size, or strict NATs for education only (I know in high school, Skype, Call of Duty servers, etc cetera were blocked.)

I think the purchase of an old Xbox 360 would make things easier. I know this sucks but its just how the licensing and backwards compatibility is set up. It would be really good if it was a straight emulator like the Xbox 360 was to OG Xbox, but that's
just how things are.

I'm out of ideas, unless someone else on the forums has an idea?

I believe a power cycle may fix this. Please follow these steps;

1. Eject your game disc.

2. Power Cycle. Hold the Xbox power button down for 10 seconds, wait for 30 seconds than restart. To ensure a power cycle has been completed, the start up should be a green background with the Xbox logo.

3. Sign in to your account. However this may need an internet connection.

4. Put in your disc.

The first error code should be gone now.

Regarding the second error code, this may be an IP address issue. It could be because your dormitory's internet drops out and changes IP. I'm not too sure on that one.

If this doesn't work, you may have to repeat the steps, but before doing that delete the game from games & apps. I know this is a pain for you but that is just how Xbox has designed the backwards compatibility system.

Hi I'm sorry for your situation, then the games of 360 that you downloaded on one work with the connection. does not use offline. If you have an old 360 you can play offline with the latter.

Do you really think Fable 2 is online always?

If those games are online only, then offline play is impossible.
