Unable to Pass Menu screen (PC) "Press Any Key" - Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition

Hello,

Recently downloaded the game with Xbox Game Pass. I'm looking for a fix around an issue that I've been trying to work on the past few hours. Everytime that I get to the main menu of the game it prompts to "press any key" but after doing so the prompt disappears
and I am stuck on the main menu screen with animations still running. The mouse also still functions. So it seems that the application itself is not freezing, it's just not taking me to the next prompt or scene.

I've tried:

- Updating and restarting my computer.

- Uninstalling and reinstalling Ori and the Blind Forest.

- Updating and restarting the Xbox App.

- Updating Xbox Identity Provider.

- Updating the Windows Store.

- "Press Any Key" with a keyboard, mouse, and Xbox Controller (all on separate launches).

- Launching the game in offline mode.

- Signing out and signing back into my account. *

Any other game that I have downloaded from Game Pass seems to work fine so it's not an issue with any of the different controllers I've used. The second game in the series works just fine but I'm really looking forward to playing the first installment beforehand.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Update - I was able to get the game running once.

After restarting the computer again and bringing up the game, the xbox app opened a small window to show it was attempting to synchronize saved data (this window only shows up once everytime I restart the computer, never after that if I try to relaunch the
game). Typically, I click cancel on this as I should not have any saved data and even if I let it load it remains stuck at zero percent. However, this time around it stated it could not sync data and provided me the option to play offline and from there the
game continued.

Unfortunately I had to restart the game due to audio issues and it led me back to the same problem in the loading screen. I tried to follow the same steps as before but its not giving me the same “play offline” option and I’m stuck trying to synchronize.
I have also tried to launch the game disconnected from my internet at start up but no luck so far.

Anyways, I think the synchronization of data might have a hand at this main menu issue.
