Unable to modify config file for a game

Hi I´m trying to play to one of the GamePass tittles "Yes, Your Grace" but I have 2 monitors and I would like to play in the secondary monitor or windowed mode, but i can´t do this because the only way to achieve this is modifiying the config file located
inside the game folder protected behind a permissions wall that can not be modified even by the system administrator (Me).

The in-game configuration only allows to change volumes and language, but all the resolution, screen selection and execution mode is made in the file.

Although this is a problem that the developers could solve expanding in the options available in-game, is a shame windows doesn´t allow the administrator and owner of the game to modify the files at will, since this prevents me to play the game the way I
want it and would be posible in every other platform.

please allow owners to modidfy files or at least make the config files available so this kind of things dont happen

you cant access or modify those files in anyway.

alot of the gamepass for pc games are in fact virtual xbox disk files meaning they are direct ports from xbox and not the full pc game version, its a mixed bag some are some arent.

There isn't a shortcut. The main menu shortcut doesn't give an option to properties and there is nothing that launches the game on the installation folder. There is a config file but I don't have permission to modify anything and also tried changing the
permissions but I can't change the folder owner so I can only read files.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have an issue with a game. Are you on a Xbox console, if so you are unable to modify files. If you are on a PC and got game through game pass, you cant modify files as it is locked. Please give as
much information as possible so we can assist you further.

Ive checked what performance I should be getting and its about right but the fps drops are weird cause its just random not when something should be loading

Still wouldn't do any harm to tell us what they are. I'm primarily a PC gamer and I know PC hardware.

Have you tried running MSI Afterburner to check your FPS and your CPU and GPU temperatures?

You will risk getting banned by the developers of the game in question as they tend to review such things!
