Unable to make a simple purchase

I am having extreme difficulties trying to make simple purchases on the Xbox 360 store. I have tried making purchases through the Xbox 360 console, multiple web browsers, computer OS such as windows 10 and 7, even on my phone. I always get the same error messages saying your purchase could not been completed at this time or there is no valid payment option on your file. Well the card I have been using for months has worked just fine before and the address is accurate. The Xbox status shows as nothing is down, anytime I get the error message I wait 24 hours before trying again but still the same error messages occur. Is anyone else having this same error and if so, have you found a solution for this problem?

This does not help me. I have contacted the Microsoft Support and they do not see any errors. I contacted the company of the card I use and all my information on my account matches on both my card and my Microsoft account and my card is still valid, there are no issues there. So I am still lost and unable to make any kind of purchases.

With payment issues like these, you will need to contact our payment and billing department to check your account and the validity of the payment method you are using from their end. They will be able to fix this for you.

You can request a call back or live chat on the Xbox support website. If you are facing any issues with that, please go through Microsoft support. Once you get to the virtual agent just say “Talk to an agent” and select Xbox as the product, and your issue from the list. Select the option “Call me back” or “Live chat”, which shows the estimated wait time/queue. If you don't see the options to request a call back or chat with support, change your category/topic until you do. If it does not work, please select billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge".

Sorry I meant if I buy another gold since my 360 one won't work on my xb1 do I Need to make up a new Hammett tag and profile And start all over again or can I just cancel that one and allocate the new one

Same issue!! It's 2016 and Microsoft has no solution for the problem.

Thanks for the response. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with the problem so this can get fixed soon. It's been real frustrating not being able to use my own money put onto my account. I've sat this whole week with an xbox one and no games.
