Unable to login to Xbox account Halo: Spartan Strike, Halo: Spartan ****, and Hitman GO

I am unable to login to my Xbox account for any of these games. Every single time I load up a game, it says, "Sorry, we can't sign you in. Try signing in at Xbox.com, then start this app again." I've done that several times. I can login to the Xbox app perfectly
fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Restarted. Several different things and it still doesn't work. It's quite frustrating that I can't play any of these games.

I am running Windows 10 on my i7 Surface Book with the latest updates. Any help would be appreciated.

I am having this same login problem for all of my Xbox apps on Windows 10, including Halo Spartan Assault and Spartan Strike as well as Hitman GO. I have tried everything that has been suggested. This issue is quite annoying.

It turns out that Halo Spartan Strike and Hitman GO, but do not log in to Xbox Live, while other games do, and it is not so problematic (although Xbox Live is one of the characteristics with which they promote them), without However, the Halo Spartan Strike
does not save game if it is not logged in, buy the games and it is supposed that all its features should work. What should I do?- Forgive my english.

 

Exact same problem from a new i7 Surface Book. I can log onto the Xbox app & the website via a browser without any trouble - And both Spartan Assault & Spartan Strike downloaded from the store just fine from prior purchase - But I get the "can't sign in"
error in both.

If anyone has found a solution to this ongoing problem I'd love to hear about it! Thanks!

 

+1 for me. i7 Surface Book. The majority of my games cannot log into the Xbox Live service. This includes Halo: Spartan Assault. As an aside I can log into the same games on my old Surface RT tablet.

 

I hate to say this, but I may have a fix for this problem. Usually, that's a good thing, but I don't think some people will be too happy with how I "fixed" my problem. Like others, I was having trouble signing-in to not just the Halo: Spartan games, but
all games that had an Xbox Live sign-in (Minesweeper, Sudoku, Project Spark) on my Surface Pro 4. My 6-year old Toshiba laptop had no problem signing-in to these games, but my Surface Pro 4 just didn't want to. I thought about the differences between the 2
machines, and I realized that when I set up Windows 10 on my laptop, I signed-in with my existing Microsoft Account. Setting up my Pro 4 I created a local account and just signed-in to apps as I needed them.

So yesterday, I factory reset my Pro 4 and set it up using my existing Microsoft Account. I then reinstalled all of my games before I did any software updates. I wanted to check along the way that my games would work and sign me in on every version of Windows
10 that I updated to so I could rule out that a specific update caused the problem. I have now updated my Pro 4 to the most up to date version of Windows 10 and I am able to sign-in to all of my Xbox games with no problem. I know this is anecdotal and may
not work for everybody, but I just wanted to share what I had done and how I "fixed" my Xbox sign-in problem. I hope this helps at least some of you.

 

My Surface Book was setup with an existing Microsoft account, so not a solution for me.
