Unable to login to xbox 1x and xbox live website

Started up my xbox this morning, after it updated last night, and it won't log me in. It logs the rest if my family in fine, just not me, which is pointless because they can't play on that box unless I'm signed in as well, stupid rule. So I reset it. It
goes to input email, I do. It goes to input password, I do that too. It then goes back to home screen without signing me in. Wash, rinse, repeat 8 times. Try adding son! Email, yes, password, double yes, answer questions (mine never even went that far), finish
set up and he's online. Try mine again. Wash, rinse, repeat... sigh. No go. Xbox live says nothing's wrong, but... heh, it lies! What do I do now? Is there a problem going on today, July 10th, 2019

Glad you got back on. It's best to set up 2 step authentication while you are thinking about logging in and out etc.

Well, I would try that but, add I said above, I'd reset my box which meant everyone was removed and the whole box was reset.

However... after complaining publicly, xbox live decided to let me log in. I didn't have to do anything else special, I simply waited several hours and tried to pt my account back on the xbox and voila! Thank you for your concern and attempt at help. 😸

I am having the same problem

Went to website and changed my password

Verified Xbox Live status and payment Information

Can log into Xbox live website

On Xbox console - login to Xbox live, asked for security login, successfully enter password and username, get temporary Xbox Live login, and then after the "remember password" stage, I am given the same error code --- FRUSTRATING!! And wasting my money on
Xbox live that I freakin pay for!

Try redeeming the code on the Xbox Live website. Login to the Xbox website, then go to view profile, then click redeem code.
