The issue here is that you've allowed online access on Windows 10 and Xbox. There is no setting for iPad. I would recommend checking the settings on the iPad version for both the game and her account.

Hi! What error code or message are you/your daughter receiving when trying to access online?

sorry but I should have stated my problem a bit better. My daughter is able to play Minecraft. It just comes up under server tab “You cannot play online multiplayer through Xbox live because of how your account is setup. This can be changed in your privacy
yadda yadda yadda”

Is an error code being generated when attempting to connect? If so if you could get it for us that would help 😀

As for not being able to connect on the IPad, that is a different story entirely. It could be something simple, but to really figure things out and error code would help a ton. Please keep us posted!

Under servers is says something like that also.
