Unable to log into Xbox Live on an specific account on Windows 10.

I have an local account on Windows 10 which I have been using. These days when I try log into Xbox Live, it no longer lets me log in.

No error codes were shown.

No official solutions worked.

Only workaround was to create another user on the system, and it worked fine.

Based on the previous, it is clear that nothing is wrong except for local stuff.

Any clues? I guess I need to clear some cache from somewhere, though I can't find them. Thanks in advance.

If that doesn't work, try these troubleshooting steps.

Go to Windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset

Finally, do this:

Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.

Then try signing in with the account that you cannot sign in with before.

I am also having the issue where all of my app based games on Windows 10 have stopped being able to log into Xbox Live. The Xbox app logs into Xbox Live as does signing in via www.xbox.com.

I have tried the following games: AlphaJax, Cut the Rope, Disney Fairies Hidden Treasures, Gravity Guy, Halo: Spartan Assault, Hexic, iStunt 2, any of the Microsoft games like Bingo, Jigsaw, etc. All have issues signing into Xbox live.

Things are working fine on my Surface RT (running 8.1RT) so it is not my account but something specific to a Windows 10 PC.

Are you able to log in on www.xbox.com? Just to discard that the account is unable to connect to the website.

What version of Windows 10 have you installed, and are you running on Windows Insider program?
