Unable to log in to my Minecraft/ mojang account.

I bought Minecraft years ago. when I was barely a teenager.

So when I wanted to check out Minecraft again I was shocked to find I was unable to log in to my account.

I thought I might got the wrong password. Although this was unlikely, went through the 'forget password form' but I never got an email.

so I tired messaging mojang through the website's help desk. but after sending several messages over numinous weeks I seem to never get a response other than the auto reply.

I have also tired Microsoft's instant chat but after waiting ages to speak to an agent he basically didn't want to help me and said "not my department".

I even tired calling Microsoft only after wasting my time for 30mins for the customer support agent started being rude to me and than suddenly hanged up during the middle of one of my sentences.

please can anyone help me.

surely there is another way to contact mojang or can someone get in contact with them for me as they don't seem to be responding to the messages they get through the help desk.

I think the process has changed, I would recommend not trying to log into Minecraft.net, if you bought it before, but log into the
Mojang account page and see if that lets you in. They changed the account process a while ago, but I think you have to go into your Mojang account and link it to a Microsoft Account
(or at least it's an option, not necessary if you still just want the Java edition.)
