Unable to log in to my Minecraft account

Hi,

I'm trying to log in to minecraft and whenever I put my login info to the mojang section, it gives me "Account has been migrated to a Microsoft account. Please log in with your Microsoft account using the green “Sign in with Microsoft” button above.". If I remember correctly (haven't played minecraft in about a year or so), I migrated my mojang account to a microsoft account. Whenever I log in to minecraft it sends me to my microsoft account that I use on my phone, which is NOT the same one that I use for my computer. If I log in through the mojang login, it gives me a message to use the microsoft login screen instead. If I use the microsoft login screen, it logs me into the microsoft account that I use on my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Based on your description, it's clearly possible that you have there two Microsoft accounts. May I confirm on which app or section on your computer do you see your correct account you used on Minecraft migration before? Is it on Xbox app, Microsoft Store, or in PC Settings > Accounts?

No, my account was created long before even considering buying Minecraft and when trying to log in there (that is, to account the game was purchased on) i'm prompted to log in to Microsoft account which I do not have access to. I have already sent out a recovery request but it was unable to verify me as the original owner of that account.

Hello Ghfghf, have you done the migration from Minecraft account to Microsoft, if yes, was it the Microsoft account that you log in and you are unable to play Minecraft?

I think the process has changed, I would recommend not trying to log into Minecraft.net, if you bought it before, but log into the
Mojang account page and see if that lets you in. They changed the account process a while ago, but I think you have to go into your Mojang account and link it to a Microsoft Account
(or at least it's an option, not necessary if you still just want the Java edition.)
