Unable to log in to Game Pass on Xbox PC beta

The Xbox PC beta goes back to the "Log In" menu after I log in. I am unable to download or play any games. How do I correct this? I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the client and also referenced a help article that says to "remove" the Microsoft
ID from Windows in Settings, Accounts, but I do not have that option. I'd appreciate some help with this since I bought Game Pass to play on PC but it hasn't worked in several days.

you have to log in to the account that has the xbox game pass on the microsoft store of your pc, once you have loged in then go to the xbox game pass app beta on your pc and log into the account you want to play

Not sure 100% if this helped - I didn't realize I could install games using Game Pass from the Store app. I started installing a game from the Store app and now the Xbox (beta) is magically signed in and working like it's supposed to. Thanks.
