    Unable to Load Anything Microsoft Related


    Hello,

    I was unable to play Minecraft Bedrock Edition and kept getting the error "Failed to Start Game" or something along those lines. I then proceeded to repair the Xbox App and Gaming Services parts. This did not work. I then moved to deleting them to then reinstall them. I am unable to do so and keep getting errors. I am unsure what to do at this point as I am unable to open Microsoft Store, Xbox, Game bar or anything like that. I have attempted the commands:

    sfc /scannow

    Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    wsreset.exe

    Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.WindowsStore | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_. InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

    About 8 months ago I got a new SSD from Samsung and today just wiped the files off of my old one and partitioned it as a fresh new extra drive. Every time I open my computer it tells me it is "Scanning and repairing drive C:" I've checked under the partitioning application and it says that it is a healthy drive so I'm not sure what the cause of this could be either or if it is related.

    Any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Yes I have tried logging in and was unable to find anything in relation to that ID.

    you dont have to load the companion app to launch games they are in the start menu.

    what version of windows 10 do you have installed, is it 1903,1909 or 2004. also in the windows store have you checked for updates and also checked for updates under settings.

    I'm running windows 1909, and I cant launch it from start menu on windows either.

    And yes in the windows store I tried checking for updates and nothing came up, nor could I install any other software from the store.

    Kindly make sure that your Windows is pro activated and is legit. If not, you may need do a fresh install with legit windows downloaded from MS website.

    I have been having the exact same issue for over a month now. I've been into the MS Store to try & download games etc through there & still the same result.....NOTHING !! I have even been online chat with an expert & after about half an hour of them telling
    me to try all of the things that I'd already done in an effort to get things working again, they apologised & logged out then marked the issue as resolved which it most certainly was not. Through MS Store & XBOX Beta I get error codes of which all have been
    reported & then researched by myself & the remedy tried each with the same result...NOTHING. I really don't want to cancel my subscription as during lockdown so many games that I really want to play have become available on Game Pass but I can't justify the
    expence of paying for something that I'm not receiving.

    I know that this doesn't help you in any way but it's always nice to know that there is someone out there that shares your pain.
