Unable to Launch Games Through Xbox App Cloud Beta

Hi,

I have access to the Xbox Game Streaming beta on my PC through the app, however when I try to launch a game the window just goes black for a second and then takes me back to the library.

I use my friends Game Pass subscription as we split the costs between us, I log into the Windows Store as him and then into the Xbox App as myself and have never had an issue installing and playing games through there.

Can someone please help?

because they designed xcloud to be account specific. they may come out with a way that family members can use it or shared access but until that happens then only the account that has the sub can use it.

Yeah makes sense, I'd like to se MS' official stance on it though, might just be because its beta, could be a bug (wishful thinking). We have a sub through all-access so have Ultimate until 2023 so would suck big time if I'm limited here.

It does seem this way, weird how it acts as if I can though, also has never stopped me from actually downloading games through XGP4PC.

Unfortunately not the same issue as mine, the app goes black for a secon then just goes back onto the library screen.

I have just tried with the console companion though and still no luck

Have you tried uninstalling and installing the app?
