Unable to launch gamepass games

Thanks for letting me know! I don't buy any digital games on the Xbox, only Gamepass so I cant tell

I hope they fixed it soon...

Gamepass games on PC and XBox Series X are still unable to launch.

First, welcome to the Xbox community. I'm sorry you're having this problem. Before we try any different solutions, please make sure your windows are updated to the latest version, in this case I mean windows 10 version 21h1.

If it is not up to date, please update by following the instructions below.

Select the Start button and then go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update.

- If updating the system does not solve the problem, I suggest you try the solutions below.

Solution 1:

Open RegEdit as an administrator and delete the following Services:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet]

PC reboot

Install gaming service like you would normally

Solution 2:

Go to Windows settings

Applications

Applications and Features

Look for Gaming Services

Click on it

Advanced options

Tap repair

- If it doesn't work, try the alternative below.

Download the Create Windows 10 installation media application from the link below, at the end of the download run the application, and then follow the instructions given by the program at the end click on upgrade. Rest assured none of your files will be lost, this is a system restore that will try to fix this error.

Mateus, I have the same problem, I've done everything you said, still, same problem, same error.

My pc is unable to run long enough to even bring up a menu at this point and all I have attempted to do was the steps you listed. After launching deadcells my PC has degraded to a point of being unable to even repair it. I am beyond words at this point. I am using windows 11 and this pc is decently up to date hardware wise. I'm having to reply on my phone. How is Xbox gamepass allowing this to continue on their gamepass when this seems to be a known issue from my digging. It killed my computer just by launching it. I am furious, and unable to do anything because it crashes roughly 5 minutes after launch.

Will pillars of eternity 2 be on gamepass on launch for the console?

It does not look to be a Gamepass title at launch. Assuming how long it took for the first game to be added to Gamepass, I am doubtful you would see it in the near future.
