    I haven’t been able to use my Series X much recently but I do know playing games worked properly a couple weeks ago. I tried on Saturday on version 2304.230313-1625 to play but no game will launch. Series version of games all will give error 0x87e50036 while Xbox one, 360 and original Xbox games all may show the splash screen but immediately return to the Home Screen within a couple of seconds. I updated to 2304.230315-2200 today and still have the exact same issue. Apps are launching properly. I have tried clearing the cache on both version and submitted a feedback report on both versions.

    What you downloaded was the Beta, not the game. The Beta has yet to launch, which is why you are unable to play. There is no set date released to the public for the Beta just yet.

    Sorry you're still having trouble. If you are still unable to launch the game from the Beta App then please find the game in the Start Menu of the PC and launch it from there

    Flight Simulator 2020 (Press any key to start)

    1) I downloaded the game through Microsoft Store

    2) Launch the game with same problem (press any key to start) agian & again

    3) then close the game!

    4) download Xbox (beta) from Microsoft Store

    5) launch Xbox (beta)

    6) launch Flight Simulator from Xbox (beta)

    7) problem sloved with (press any key to start)

    now looks like updating or something?

    Still unable to play!
    In my case, I uninstalled Xbox Game pass and Flight Simulator, install both again and run

    After 5 hours (91GB download) everything was ok!

    Sorry to hear it. If you're unable to play the game from the Xbox Beta app then please find it in your Start menu and launch it from there
