Unable to join Xbox Clubs

I am trying to join an xbox club for forza horizon 4 on windows 10, I have allowed it in my privacy settings but when I go to accept and invite or create a club it says my privacy settings are incorrect and to change them but they are all on allow. Any
ideas on how to fix it?

Xbox privacy & online safety settings don't work

Hi,

I'm trying to join a club on xbox, but i get an error message saying "you can't do this because the way your account is setup. Go to your privacy & online safety settings to change this".

I added my account to an adult account and changed the settings to "allowed to join/create a club".

But i'm still unable to join a club

Unable to Join Clubs

I am unable to join clubs with my Xbox Live account. When I request an invitation to join a club a message pops up saying,

"To do this, change a setting

You can't do request to join the club because of how your account is set up. This can be changed in your privacy and & online safety settings on Xbox.com"

So, I went to Xbox.com and changed the setting "You can create and join clubs" to allow. However, this was a while ago and I still have not been able to join clubs. Any help in resolving this would be great.

check if you're account is and adult or child account if is a child account has limits to do some sorts of things.

I have the same problem. My account is adult account. I have all the related privacy settings regarding clubs enabled/allowed. Still I cant enter or create any club.

Any other possible solution?

Try checking the settings on the Xbox website. You can click your name on the right, go to Xbox Settings and then Privacy. On the next screen are three different tabs of settings you can check.

That is where I changed the settings dont have an xbox just pc

you part of a Microsoft Family? Have you tried to manage Online safety or Privacy settings on your profile?

Xbox.com > Sigh in > Click on profile > Privacy settings

This did not help at all because it is what everyone is telling each other to do ("Try checking the settings on the Xbox website. You can click your name on the right, go to Xbox Settings and then Privacy. On the
next screen are three different tabs of settings you can check"- just 3 posts before this one). And it is not working. Please just fix the issue instead of telling people what they already know.

I have done all of these all settings are on allow but on the xbox app on windows 10 i cannot accept invites or join any clubs

Hi, the xbox app screen appeared when i clicked onto "search clubs" but there isn't a forza horizon game in the xbox app. I'm still unable to join clubs in the game.

Try checking out these troubleshooting resources:

If this does not help then please try to sign into another Microsoft account, then add the first account as an "Adult"
family member. From there, try to see if it is possible to change the settings and save them this way. Also, please try another device to see if it is possible to change the
Online Safety and Privacy Settings like
a phone, tablet, console etc.

Are you able to just change permissions back to default? Reset it to adult permissions, and see if that fixes it? If it does, then fine tune your settings to see if it still works.

Is it possible to change it to the Adult Permissions on PC? If so can you give me the steps to get to the section to change the permissions.

Is this happening to any club you try to join or for a specific game?

First thing I would suggest to try is to toggle the join club setting to blocked, log out from Xbox.com, log back in and toggle the option to allow again. Completely reboot your PC and log out and then back into the Xbox App and try to join a club again.

Do by any chance also have an Xbox?
