Unable to join my xbox friends worlds(minecraft)

This happened to us yesterday. I left the game and when I wanted to join again 5 minutes later I got the message 'Unable to connect to world.'. My friend was hosting her world on Xbox One with Minecraft v1.12.0, and I have the same version. Another friend
was also playing in that world from his pc and he didn't have any problems. Everything seemed fine besides that I couldn't join anymore. So then another friend tried to join as test but she couldn't join them either. We did some further testing and I could
join that last friend's world and she could join mine, and I could join the world of yet another friend, but no one was able to join the game I left.

The friend hosting the game didn't do anything besides playing the game. I had left a few times before and could always join again.

I wish the game would give more information beyond 'Unable to connect to world.'.

I cannot join my friend's world ( he is ps4 and im xbox ). We are both NAT type open and i've tried everything to join, it keeps saying unable to connect to world and i desperately need to play. Thanks, I appreciate any help

Xbox and ps4 are not crossplay at the moment for minecraft. Pc is on the other hand. Hope I helped

Is the friend that you want to play on Minecraft Bedrock Edition?

About your two friends, are they the ones that gets the unable to join world message?

Also, both are on the same Minecraft version?

I play Minecraft with my friend over mobile. It was working the whole time, until now.

The issue is, when I am in my world, my friend tries to join but it says “Unable to connect to world”.

We both use the same version of Minecraft [1.14.60 as of 6/16/20]. I also have multiplayer set on the world too.

I tried inviting him, but the issue persisted. I tried joining his world, but it showed me the message.

My Xbox account is allowed to play multiplayer and no parental controls are set.

What do I do? Please reply as soon as possible.

The mc servers may have been down, or all the multiplayer servers that host your world are all on the newer versions

So you come to official support channels for support with mods? Try elsewhere - like the people who made the mod for example.
