Unable to join multiplayer session of Generation Zero

I've had the same issue for a couple months..

So-n-so is online and joinable ......... join session in progress ...... unable to join session.

ive done this and am still unable to join games sessions

We understand that you wanted to play Forza Horizon 5 however, you encounter an issue with the quality and region which shows failed with error code on your screenshot. Let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

May we know if your Network settings are all good? Please share to us any error message you encounter.

Check your internet connection. Navigate to Settings on the Xbox app. Go to Settings. Select Network. Check the NAT type under Current network status, Xbox Live services and Server Connectivity.

Based on your screenshot, may we know if you have contacted Forza Support regarding this issue? You may use this: Submit a request – Forza Support.

Did you recently move to different country or region? Please check this support link - Update your Microsoft account if you’re moving to a new country or region.

Suggested Troubleshooting:

Keep your device and Xbox app updated.

Restart device.

Turn off or disable your antivirus, antimalware, PC Optimizer or VPN.

Troubleshoot your Xbox network connection

Known Issues for Game Launches -

Forza Horizon 5 (Cloud + Console + PC)

• Launching Forza Horizon 5 will show a “You’re too early” message if you do not own all necessary entitlements.
  
  • To enable early access of Forza Horizon 5, you must own one of the following:
    
    • Premium Edition of Forza Horizon 5 -OR-
      
    • An Active Game Pass subscription on the same account that is trying to launch the game -AND- the Premium Addon Pack on the same account.
      
  • Users that do not have both the game and the addon bundle will be unable to launch until the game releases on November 9th, 2021.
    
• Players on Steam and Windows may see frequent crashing while playing
  
  • Examples of the error codes being seen are 0xc0000005 (access violation) and 0x0000001d (failed install or uninstall of system-level software)
    
  • This may be caused by hardware issues such as faulty RAM, file errors or corruption, or PC settings.
    
  • In these cases we recommend that you follow up with the hardware manufacturer for your device to ensure that you have the latest firmware installed.
    

• Players may run into a "local cache is full" error
  
  • This is currently being investigated
    

• Players are unable to locate their Welcome Pack, Car Pass, and VIP Pass
  
  • The Welcome Pack, Car Pass and VIP Pass will not show as content when viewing Game and add-ons on devices. This is located and managed within the game itself and is available once the tutorial/first chapter is completed. Players can validate ownership by doing one of the following:
    
    • Complete the first Chapter in the game, which will unlock the content
      
    • Visit the store pages for each item, which will show as Owned:

• Some players are experiencing disconnects from Horizon Life (multiplayer).
  
  • These players can still play in Horizon Solo (single player) or attempt a console reboot to reconnect to Horizon Life. Playground Games is investigating the issue.
