Unable to join friends' games on Minecraft

My daughter has added two cousins as friends/favorites on her XBox One. She is able to host parties and games and they are able to participate in her parties/games; however, she is unable to join their games, even when invited. When she attempts to join
their game, a menu pops up that says, "Can't join game. You cannot join this game because it has been limited to players who are friends of the host." She IS friends with the host, so I'm not sure why she can't connect.

Also, Xbox Live says friends should also be followers, but it isn't showing her friends as followers. I'm not sure if this issue is related to the Minecraft issue, but thought I'd throw it out there. Please help!

Cant join my friends invite

I have just downloaded minecraft beta 10 windows. My friend has invited me to there game but keeps saying unable to join..

Sorry to hear it. Your daughter may have added her cousins as friends on the console but they must add her back as well.

Not long ago my friends would always be able go join me, both Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, however now they can”t join me no matter what, I’ve changed the way of joining which is “Friends of friends” to “Friend only” to “Invite only” and nothing
works, they all get the message “Unable to connect.”

2 Do you have actual game and not the beta

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. I understand that your friend is unable to join your world while playing Minecraft. There are a few things to unload here before we can attempt to help you. Are you trying to play through a server on Minecraft Realms with your friend or are you trying to play regular multiplayer? Are you able to play other games with your friend online? Is your friend receiving an error code when they attempt to join the game?

This happened to us yesterday. I left the game and when I wanted to join again 5 minutes later I got the message 'Unable to connect to world.'. My friend was hosting her world on Xbox One with Minecraft v1.12.0, and I have the same version. Another friend
was also playing in that world from his pc and he didn't have any problems. Everything seemed fine besides that I couldn't join anymore. So then another friend tried to join as test but she couldn't join them either. We did some further testing and I could
join that last friend's world and she could join mine, and I could join the world of yet another friend, but no one was able to join the game I left.

The friend hosting the game didn't do anything besides playing the game. I had left a few times before and could always join again.

I wish the game would give more information beyond 'Unable to connect to world.'.

So you come to official support channels for support with mods? Try elsewhere - like the people who made the mod for example.
