    Unable to join certain servers in Minecraft Windows 10 edition


    I have had Minecraft Windows 10 Edition for some time now, and it seemed to be working fine, until a couple days back, I saw that I wasnt able to join certain servers, and it was frozen at the 'Loading' screen. I thought this was probably something to
    do with my internet, so I left it for that day, and tried it today. It still was not able to join. This problem does not occur at all for the featured servers, only for the ones I add myself. Pls fix this issue.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

    To clarify, are you on Minecraft (Xbox One) or Minecraft Windows 10 edition? This is important because they are both different versions.

    Can you join official servers without issue?

    Besides "unable to join world" what else does the error say?

    Are both of you on the same version? You can confirm with the version number on the home screen of Minecraft.

    Please answer those questions for us so we can provide better assistance.

    I can not get into a server a friend of mine

    Minecraft Windows 10 Edition.

    My friend X and my friends can join my game server.

    I, however, am the only one who can not enter the game server of my friend X.

    When I try to enter his server (both on the Xbox and from the game itself), he can not locate his server and then an error message pops up "Unable to connect to the world".

    We've verified the network with the Xbox app and it's all right.

    The problem only exists between me and him.

    What could be it?

    Hi, Servers for Minecraft are not available for the windows 10 edition beta or pocket editions. they might put them on in a later date, but realms are available

    What server are you trying to join exactly?

    Be aware that some servers only work with the JAVA version of Minecraft. Not all servers support the Windows 10 Minecraft version.

    If in doubt, check the website for the server (if it exists) or contact the server administrator (if known).
