Unable to install Xbox Insider Hub and Microsoft Rewards on Xbox One

About
a week ago, My rewards and insider hub apps were uninstalled off my xbox, so I started trying to reinstall them. When i did the download speed would fall to Kb/s and not even a single Byte would install. It would then pause the installation and trt again and
it would occur over and over again, Also a few of my games seemed to not have some old network updates installed like 10GB of Fortnite or 34GB of For Honor. But if i try to install any games or updates they will install at a normal rate and finish. Also, if
i cancel installation, the apps appear to be installed, but if I try to open they say there was an error and that I should uninstall them creating a loop. I’ve done restarts on my xbox, completely cutting off power supply and I’ve disconnected and reconnected
my internet to my xbox one. Please Help soon because this has been preventing me from playing the Generation Zero beta

I was invited to the "Sea of Thieves" Technical alpha. I have yet to gain access to the game install

Follow the steps below to get the Xbox Insider hub and to download the game:

• On your Xbox One, head to the Store

• Search for and install the Xbox Insider Hub

• Launch the Hub and you'll find Sea of Thieves waiting for you

• Click the icon which will take you through to the Store page

• Install as you would any other game

I had these instructions in the email. The prompt to do so in the hub simply is not there.

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with downloading the apps on your Xbox one.

Since it was mentioned that you've done a few troubleshooting steps. I would recommend to do a

Soft Factory Reset. This will reset your Xbox but
keeping your games and apps. Afterwards check to see if it resolved the downloading problem

Side Note: It is
very important
to make sure you have a secure network connection and know the primary email/password to the account before resetting the Xbox.

Okay I managed to fix the problem. I disconnected my external SSD from my xbox and allowed the app to install on my xbox’s hard disk drive. Everything else on my SSD doesn’t seem to be compromised as well which is odd.

Oh this reply didn’t even come up on my screen even though I was refreshing it. Thanks for the help but it seems the problem was with my external Hard drive.

The Xbox Insider Hub can be installed from Microsoft Store on your Windows 10 PC.

Open Microsoft Store.
Search for the Xbox Insider Hub.
Select Get/Install.

Stop participating in the Xbox Insider Program

Launch the Xbox Insider Hub.
Go to Settings > Manage devices.
Select the consoles to unenroll from the Xbox Insider Program.
Uninstall the Xbox Insider Hub.

Hi I'm Peter an independent advisor, glad to hear you want to try out the insider hub. Anyone can register, you need to install the xbox insider hub first of all on either the PC or Xbox One:

Xbox One

Move over to the Store tab on the dashboard or select Store in the guide.

Choose Search.

Enter insider in the box, then select Xbox Insider Hub.

Select Get or Install.

On Windows 10

The Xbox Insider Hub can be installed from Microsoft Store on your Windows 10 PC.

Press the Start button, type store, then select Microsoft Store.

Select Search, enter insider in the box, then select Xbox Insider Hub.

Select Get or Install.

To sign in for the first time (use your gamer tag):

If you weren’t part of the old Xbox Preview Program, you’ll want to search the store for the Xbox Insider Hub. If you were, however, take a look in the updates section of My Games & Apps to update to the Insider Hub.

Accept the terms and conditions after opening up the Xbox Insider Hub

On the main screen for the Insider Hub, go to Insider Content section and select the Xbox One Update Preview section

Simply press the join button on the next page, and you’re in! Just keep in mind that it will take up to 72 hours to start getting preview updates.
