Unable to install or even modify game installations on PC (Error Code 0x80073CFE)

So I've had a copy of Minecraft for Windows 10 for a while now, but for some time I've also been having issues trying to use it as every time it has prompted me for an update recently it never goes through and I receive the error code of 0x80073CFE which seems to have no information about it anywhere online. I should add that this issue is affecting whenever I try to install the Minecraft Launcher or Preview as well as I also receive the same error code in those instances. I've tried uninstalling the base game in every way I think possible on my system but I just can't now it seems. For reference here is what the app info for it looks like when I pull it up in the settings:

Ran the SFC and got no errors, ran the DISM and rebooted. Opened the xbox app and it says I need to install gaming services, when I click the button to do so it just freezes on installing. When I open Microsoft Store and check the updates I see that the gaming services update failed with the 0x80073CFE error code.

I keep getting errors saying that I need to close particular programs.

"The package could not be installed because resources it modifies are currently in use.
error 0x80073D02: Unable to install because the following apps need to be closed InputApp_1000.18362.1.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy."

Thank you for contacting the Xbox support forums. To confirm, are you unable to install the Xbox application or games within the application? Typically when this error code is received, it could be a variety of possibilities. Please view: Error 80190194 with a list of possible troubleshooting fixes.

However if you are unable to install the application, it may be a different issue apart from the article I listed above. Installation errors can sometimes be repaired by running PC updates. Please check to make sure your PC is updated by going to your settings, then selecting "Windows Update".
