Unable to install minecraft from microsoft store

Thank you for your help, however I am currently unable to access the minecraft launcher (it can't be opened/launched, is still showing up in the windows search bar, cannot be uninstalled).

Every time I try to download it again from other places (microsoft store application, minecraft installer application, minecraft launcher from the xbox store), I get an error and it tells me it is unable to install

I have been experiencing this problem, and I tried what you said, but it just keeps saying "you'll need a new app to open this MS store link", so I tried to go to the app directly, but it appears to not be in the list of apps, on the computer that runs on the most recent version of windows, so I went to the MS store website again to open the app that way, and the computer acts like I never did anything, what do I do?

I downloaded the installer from the Minecraft site, not the microsoft store
