    Unable to install Apps, advice?


    Hello,

    I’ve done some searching in this sub and online before posting here, but I haven’t found anything that worked... so I’m hoping someone has an idea.

    Installing games is fine and apps that are already installed work correctly. My issue is that I can’t install any new apps (ex. Movies and TV, HBO Go, Netflix, Insiders Hub, etc).

    When I select an app from my “ready to install”, then choose install, the app disappears as though it is going to install, but then it drops out of the queue and reappears on the “ready to install” list.

    I’ve tried hard resetting and I’ve tried installing from the store page instead. Any other ideas?

    It’s really frustrating (it’s been like this for several weeks). Any help would be greatly appreciated; thank you

    Hi Rostom,

    Thanks for the advice! I was trying to install the game from the xbox app. Unfortunately the advice you gave did not fix the problem as it is not installing still. It also shows that it is queued while there is nothing else downloading.

    Please advice your friend to log out and then log back into the Microsoft Store app. Search the game using the Microsoft store app and check if there is an install option from there.
