Unable to install any ea play game from my game pass.

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Forums! I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with accessing EA Games through the Xbox App.

I was unable to reproduce your issue, so I have escalated this post.

The steps that I took to reproduce this problem were as follows:

1. Uninstalled my current EA App and all EA content from my computer
   
2. Opened the Xbox App on my PC and confirmed I was signed into the correct account
   
3. Searched for an EA game, like "Battlefield" in the search bar at the top
   
4. Clicked the link "Searching for an EA game? Click here to view EA Play games in PC Game Pass"
   
5. Installed EA App from this page
   
6. When app was installed, I clicked "Explore the EA App"
   
7. Within the EA App, I was able to search and download any EA Game
   

Yeah I have the same issue. Every game I tried to install forced me to restore my computer.

I didn't found any solution. I just post to say you still can install the game from the EA Desktop (as the PC game pass includes an EA Play subscription).

I don't exactly have a need for EA pass anyways, whether it's sharable or not I would be indifferent. I currently cannot install any Game Pass games or Game Pass Ultimate games. I am not trying to install a game included with EA pass. I am trying to install a game that was not included with Game Pass but is included with Game Pass Ultimate.

Yes I purchased the Game Pass from CD Keys and applied it to his account.

He can install other Game Pass games, just not EA games which are the majority of the ones he wants to play.

He has EA Play on his PlayStation and using the same EA linked account for that which works fine.

If you had a previous account linking and it doesnt say "EA play with game pass" under settings-> my account -> my membership in EA Desktop app then I suggest

- Clicking Manage from the settings in EA Desktop app to go to the EA customer portal website and under Connections disconnect the xbox account

- Then log out of EA Desktop and exit both apps

- Then install a EA game from xbox app

It will log you into EA Desktop and link accounts giving "EA play with game pass" membership and start downloading from EA Desktop app

Note it says you can only ever link one xbox account to your EA account
