Unable to identify a game to the Game Bar. Windows 10.

The problem I am having is with the Game Bar that's part of the xbox app on windows 10.

When I try to open it in game, before it can work it has a dialog to identify it as a game "Would you like to open Game Bar?". Image: http://i.imgur.com/s26RQqx.png

But when I go to click the "Yes, this is a game." button, my cursor just goes behind the Game Bar thus I cannot click 'yes. Image: http://i.imgur.com/BJoPHpg.png

None of the Game Bar features can work until I've identified it as a game.

How can I resolve this issue?

Is there perhaps another way to tell the game bar that the game is a game without having to click it? A keyboard shortcut or a file containing a list perhaphs?

Is there perhaps a way to make the Game Bar not ask this question and just start?
