    UNABLE TO GIFT A GAME? HELP PLEASE.


    Hey guys, so since yesterday I’ve been trying to send a game to my gf via the gift option. Never had issues in the past, however once I select the gift option it goes to load the page where you select payment etc. and eventually times out stating: Try that again. Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help. So I reached out to Microsoft yesterday, actually had a pretty bad experience, but in the end they just said basically they don’t know and can’t help and told me to try again in a few hours. Which I did, and it still didn’t work. Here I am 24hrs after the fact and still unable to do so. Is anyone else experiencing this issue, or can provide any assistance? I’d sincerely appreciate any and all help/feedback. Thanks as always!

    What IRB pointed out is correct. If you're unable to gift a game, that game may not be eligible for gifting or the game was a pre-order at the time.

    If you're having trouble gifting a game still, can you please let us know which game this is occurring with and what error message you're seeing?
