Unable to get code from gmail

I requested a code to be sent to my gmail since I’ve forgotten my password, getting the code sent to my personal gmail that is linked with my outlook account but it never arrives. I have been trying to contact support which is seemingly impossible when you can’t sign into your account, let alone even when you can so I had to create this account. I am really just frustrated as I have tried many times to get a code sent to my email but it never arrives. Please if you can try to help and not just send me the generic link, because trust me I have attempted to read it already and it does nothing at all to help. I am signed in on my Xbox and everything, and literally have my phone number also attached which I get the code for. Problem is that two factor is on, and seemingly refuses to send the code to my gmail. I’ve seen people talk about security info needing to be updated, but how could I possibly update it without being able to sign in? This seems like I’m just running in circles looking for a solution.

I have reached an answer. I am unable to move the Gmail account due to the account not being 'secured'. I am also unable to recover the lost Gmail account. I cannot get back in. I guess I just have to buy Minecraft again.

that didnt help either i look in my gmail for any emails from xbox and im getting it from the account im trying to get bacfk and the new account that i made with my gmail account

I have followed every step from the guide again and still I get code 8015402B.

Is there anything I can do to prevent to get this fault code? Or am I required to create a new email account (which is not gmail) just for a Xbox live account?

Just for clarification may I know how did you purchase Xbox Live using your gmail account? Did you login to Xbox store using your gmail account and purchased or did you use a third party site to get the code?
