Unable to find save files for a game I installed using the Xbox gamepass

That's the thing. I didn't personally remove any save data from the PC. Yet I am unable to find any old files that fit the bill. It's like gamepass for PC also removes the save file upon the uninstallation of a game.

google it, there is a program that can find and move gamepass pc saves to steam saves. I know as i have used it for a few games. (PC Gamepass Save File Converter)

The save file for the XBox Gamepass doesn't work with Steam. I used this information to find the files but it wouldn't work and yes I did move the files around a few times (yes I reloaded in Steam each time) to make it work but it didn't. The problem is
more than likely tied to the XBox Gamepass must use a console focused build and the Steam version plays on a PC focused build. How do I know this? Simple, when I play in the XBox Gamepass there is a build number on the lower right which says 1.0.6.0 and the
console ver is updated to that number. However, the Steam version has no build number, it's just a blank small grey square, and when I looked on the update history in Steam, the game is on ver 1.0.1, which is considered a hotfix. Sorry to be the bearer of
bad news but at least the info is out there now. I also found out that the files for the Steam ver save as .xml file and the XBox Gamepass have no file types. That is also another reason why it won't work.

TLDR: You can't use your XBox Gamepass saves from this title with a different version of the game, such as Steam.
