    Unable to Effectively Install Games


    I began having this issue this morning when I tried to update Call of Duty Modern Warfare.

    When I began the update, it was moving uncharacteristically slow. So, I tried the normal solutions like restarting my Xbox, attempting the download on another Xbox (had already completed it), trying a different network, etc.

    After trying a number of things, I cancelled the update. However, this proceeded to uninstall the game from my system. When I tried to reinstall it, I ran into the issue I am about to describe.

    The game is constantly switching between "Installation stopped" and "Installing". My download speed is only showing up for a few seconds when it's installing before disappearing and displaying the "installation stopped" status. When another game, Star Wars Battlefront II, began updating, the two games started going back and forth between which was installing and which was not; with neither of them doing either for very long.

    The download for Modern Warfare is about 97GB and it has taken 4 hours to get to the 7GB point.
