    Unable to Download Xbox Games from the Cloud


    Hello,

    I recently tried to download Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, but I got up this morning after starting my download last night and only 4GB had been downloaded out of the 130GB. I restarted the download a dozen times, but it wouldn't even begin to download it. It just sat in the queue stationary. I tried googling solutions. I cleared the saved game storage, I reset my DNS protocal, I made sure my Series X Xbox had been updated as of today, I did a hard reset on my device, I even changed my name of my Xbox so my router wouldn't mistake my device. Other games also won't download and it seems like it is an issue with a connection with the Cloud Library?

    Nothing is working. Just did it again and made it all the way to 8.68GB, but the download has frozen and it just says, "Updating."

    What have I not tried? Never had this issue before. Getting very weary of trying things that aren't working.

    Hi Edo,

    To restore your game save files from the cloud, you need to have cloud saves enabled on your platform. Steam and Xbox Game Pass will automatically download your game progress from their online cloud servers for all your game data. I would assume since the game was force-closed, it was unable to save your progress.

    What happen when you clear local saved games

    It just deletes from the console and if the game was automatically saved on the cloud, you can download it back from the cloud or it just syncs itself from the cloud.
