Unable to download Titanfall Update - error 0x80073cf6

Can install the game offline fine, so i know it's not the disc or game itself.

Played fine until update 5 - it went to the splash screen, then back to the XB1 home page.

Uninstalled and reinstalled countless times - gets to 99%, and then says installation stopped, error 0x80073cf6.

Have tried power cycling before and after installation / trying again, and nothing seems to work.

Have good DL and UL speed, with 0% packet loss

Hi there, I first tried to install the youtube app, and install kept failing due to unknown error. Then after repeatd tries install worked but app does not even start and gave the error code 0x80073cf6. I gave up, bought the game NBA LIVE18 and after a successful
long download install, during new game first start I got the 0x80073cf6 error again. Google said something about package registration error. Any fix? Please Help!!!!

Are you by any chance part of the update preview program? If you are, please head over and post this up in the
Update Preview Forums for us so that we can get you proper support on that side.

Before you do, my one suggestion is taking it over to a friend's house to rule out your internet. If you can download it there, there's something likely going on with your internet and they can work with you on that. If you can't, then it's the console and
they should definitely help you out with that side of things.

No, i'm not part of any update program as far as i'm aware.

I seem to have trouble D/Ling the latest OS software as well, but with no error code. So i'm starting to think there may be a relation (although the latest issue may be down to the Xbox Servers atm)

 

I'm having trouble downloading the OS update as well. Gets to 100% then "there was a problem with the update" (although you can get a code by holding both bumpers and both triggers when this screen appears). Looks like the Xbox Live's servers are down these
days. I would try again in a couple of days.

 

Im in the same boat, I cant play any of my games that require updates. Kinda getting a bit *** with Destiny right around the corner.

And no Im not part of the update program either. Im pretty confident in my internet here but I will try it at a friends house.

 

I have the same problem, and I already tried with a friend connection. It really sucks.
