Unable to download the game Battlefield Bad Company 2 from Games with Gold.

I'm an Xbox live Gold user from Colombia, and i've been trying to download the game since October the 1st with no success.

Game swith gold xbox 360 VS xbox one

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was the free game with gold from the 1st - 15th of this month. For the remainder it is Darksiders II.

If you missed the chance to download the first game then I'm sorry but there is no way to backtrack it to get it for free.

It may be due to your US account not matching your actual location, some games are region locked so you cannot download outside of that region, you may to make a new account for your actual location. I think you can make up to 3 profiles on your xbox and
have a free month xbl gold just make sure you make it on your xbox. Not sure if you will be able to play it on your main profile once it has downloaded though ,it might be worth a try.

 

Ok since bf bad company is region locked is your account region Colombia or us?

If Us then it has to match your actual region

 

Now since the content isn't available on games for gold no more you can't queue it

your account region should always reflect your actual region

Yeah your account region matching your actual region as per the terms of use

For the best experience with Xbox live your account region has to match your actual region

Anything suggested otherwise to gain accessto content you aren't supposed to have is a violation of the terms of use

region locks are enforced by international laws and distribution rights

If you are trying to gain access to us content that won't work if you aren'tin the US

If you don't live in an Xbox live region fyi you should check if you are living in one

You can only have access to region locked content available to your region via your regions marketplace which you will have a lot of issues if you continue to not have an account region not matching your actual region
