Unable to download Jan 2020 free games for gold - NOW RESOLVED

For me personally, when I've had this happen, I've went onto the Xbox app on my phone and found the free Game with Gold, either under the Games with Gold section or by manually looking the game up in the Store, where it should show as "free" to download
through GwG. You can try to get the game there, and then push it through to be remotely installed on your Xbox. If that doesn't work, you can find the game in the Store on the Xbox after you've gotten it through the app, and it should let you Install it from
there as it should recognize that you already have the game.

I didnt have any issues. Have you tried hard resetting the console or downloading from website? I had to download from the website for previous gold games and it helped.

Also you can try get the game using the xbox app on your smartphone
